Søren Poulsen

Søren has more than 20 years’ extensive experience in constructing and managing high quality institutional investment portfolios.

He began his career in equity research before taking on the role as equity strategist assisting clients across all Nordic countries. Søren has repeatedly, successfully demonstrated his creative and solution-oriented approach to portfolio construction across multiple asset classes.

Before joining Petersen & Partners Søren held the position as Head of Equities with PensionDenmark where he was responsible for both the internal management of portfolios and for selecting external managers within equities, high-yield, EMD and hedge funds. Søren has extensive knowledge of investing in ETF’s, CLO’s and option strategies and has served on PensionDenmark’s Strategic and ESG committees. Søren has also held positions at Handelsbanken and Gudme Raaschou Asset Management.

Søren holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics from Copenhagen University.

Søren joined Petersen & Partners in 2023.
