Allan Nielsen

Allan has worked in research and portfolio management in both private and public equities for more than 20 years. He reads between the lines of the small print and polished presentations when assessing the odds of what will and will not be successful in the financial markets. Allan is well known and respected for providing his candid opinion.

Prior to joining Petersen & Partners Investment Management, Allan was head of all alternative investments and responsible for the selection and monitoring of external managers on public equities at Unipension Investment Management.

He has held senior positions at ATP, Danske Bank and PensionDanmark. As head of alternative investments Allan served as general manager of all MP/Unipension investment vehicles for alternative investments including private equity, energy & infrastructure and real estate and for private, climate related investments in Climate Delta K/S. Allan has also served on the advisory boards of a number of alternative investment funds.

Allan holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics and Business Administration from Aarhus University.

Allan joined Petersen & Partners in 2017.
